===== Mapviewer by aap (the hero on gtaforums) ==== General information This is a beta release of my mapviewer. Supported games are: III PC, VC PC, SA PC, III PS2, VC PS2 SA PS2 was working at some point, but currently it doesn't, at least not for me. This will hopefully be fixed in a future version. I publish this program under the BSD license, which means that you can do whatever you want with it, as long as you redistribute it with the original license (see LICENSE file) and mention me as the author. ==== Files To load a game you need to specify the path of your game in the first line of mapviewer.conf. campositions.conf contains saved camera positions. Both files need to be in the same directory as the executable. === Extra You can also use this program to view single dff files in conjunction with txd files. To do this you need to run the program from the commandline like so: mapviewer -c path_to_dff [path_to_txd] === Bugs I know that this version still contains many bugs (some of which I'm aware of) and it loads San Andreas only very slowly. Notice that the windows version is especially slow. === Contact If you have questions or want to complain, send me an e-mail: kotzkroete@gmail.com ==== Keys == Camera x/X - half/double move distance b - dump camera info w - move camera forward s - move camera backward a - strafe left d - strafe right p - set target position . - set target distance to 10 up/down - decrease/increase target distance z/Z - zoom in/out (target unchanged) LMB - first person look around MMB - pan (sensitivity depends on target distance) RMB - arc ball rotate around target ]/[ - increase/decrease FOV F1-F12 - load saved position shift+F1-F12 - save position == Game m - set time scale I/i - change visible interior H/h - turn back/advance clock by one hour G/g - turn back/advance clock by one minute U/u - change weather L/l - decrease/increase LOD distance multiplier k - toggle time r - toggle radar == Engine o - make screenshot c - toggle stereo mode E/e - increase/decrease eye distance (stereo mode) t - toggle texture v - toggle vertex colors y - toggle tint (gta III) f - toggle fog q - toggle wire frame j - toggle culling
