Detailed Description

Documentation for the G3_SkSptToon rendering pipeline. The individual pipelines are not documented fully. However an Example Pipeline Definition is fully documented and all the pipelines have the same structure.

G3_SkSptToon definitions


 Projection:    Perspective correct projection

 Primitive:     Triangle strips

 Clipping:      Fast path rendering
                Triangle fast culling

 Rendering Effect:
                Toon shading
                Silhouette extrusion

 Morphing:      Position and normal linear morphing

 Skinning:      4 weights per vertex skinning
                256 bones matrices limit
                Atomic must be preprocessed with splitter

   

This skinning pipeline supports the full set of 256 bones by using the results of skin splitting. The skinned geometry must be pre-processed with the RtSkinSplit toolkit.
